Qatar, once you already completed at least 12 months in your company you are entitled to a 30 day leave. That is the maximum allowed leave days.

Meaning this is calculated from the fact that you earn 2.5 days vacation iof every month stay in the company, 12*2.5 = 30 days.

But in my case, before I had my first vacation since I joined my company here, I lasted 14 months. This was the basis of my LEAVE SALARY, because I earned 14*2.5 = 35 day salary, so my leave salary was computed based on 35 days.

The Leave salary has nothing to do with your annual vacation days here, meaning, if you stayed 12 months in your company before having the vacation, therefore you are entitled to 30 days annual leave corresponding to 12 month stay with the company.

Why I am saying this is the case for Qatar, is because in other places like Saudi where I came from before, our leave salary was based on a fixed 30 days, even if you stayed less than a year in your company, in the case of second annual vacation and onwards, or stayed longer than 30 days in your vacation, you will still get 30 days leave salary.
