true and fair journalism is essential in the democratic setup but even there many times they pander to sensationalism leaving the truth in the mud...apply a pinch of salt to what you read...in financial markets there is the same problem of which analyst to believe? They are 100% sure of their research/methodology and predictions and the time usually proves half of them wrong. So, the markets operate on the concensus opinion of all the analysts put together. May not give the stellar returns but wont leave u much worse off either.
