Here's a taste... I've been running my macbook pro on my 30" nec for so long...I really don't like snow leopard...win7 64bit is so much better, really ...if you know what you're doing.

Finally got my new rig more or less together. The only thing left is that I'm finalizing the details of my new custom case (see pic), and in Q3 2011 I'll be upgrading to the 8 core intel cpu (if the roadmap holds true). That and I see a pci express ssd in the very near future (including the new case of course). …I'm still waiting for the arrival of my 2nd evga gtx 580 hydro copper 2 (they're out of stock on evga europe - I guess black ops will have to do with 1 gtx 580 hydro copper for now...).

Will update when the new case comes and the 2nd evga gtx 580... so far i7 980x, evga gtx 580 hydrocopper 2, 3tb seagate raid 0, 80gb ssd (soon to be pci express), pioneer blu-ray (samsung dvd backup), corsair 1000w modular psu, 1x 360mm water radiator, 1x 120mm radiator, mcp35x pump, mcp655 pump, 14 120mm 80cfm fans, double wide acrylic case to come (uv blue), 12gb (3 channel only, not more - for speed) ram to come (currently 6gb), water blocks for ram too. Yes I know the water additive is uv green, but so far swiftech’s the best… will flush with uv blue later (my color scheme is blue).

When the new case comes I'm upgrading to 1x 480mm radiator, and 3x 420mm radiators (3 cooling loops). Luckily with the new intel architecture, water cooling will bring the cpu/chipset exactly to the idea temps for oc'ing (air cooling temps still above ideal)!

I've never seen temps so low with the new water loop. max 21 deg C on all 6 cores so far... the lowest I've seen on air was 35 deg. All the fans are at least 82 CFM (which is amazing for 120mm fans). I feel cold just sitting beside the case, there's so much airflow...really!
