I think a mother daughter relationship depends on how you turn up. I mean if the daughter does not come up to the expecatations of the mother, then the relationship is screwed for sure. Had I gotten married at the right age and given her the grand children which she is dying for, then I am sure the relationship between us would have been terrific since we have a lot in a common as well inspite of the differences between us. For one, we are both amazing cooks and cooking is a common hobby and passion for us. We both are very God fearing and extremely conscientious.. The only bone of content between is my single status, if somehow I could overcome that or rather if I fixed that up, I am sure my mom and I could be the best of buddies..

So the key to a perfect mother daughter relationship is.. Never fail her expectations of you...Do what she wants and be what she wants..
