i guess your mom just want to have someone who would take care of you when she'll be gone...its still for your own good.

i missed my mom...she's the best mom i could ever have...when i was in my teen years i used to not like her for she seems dictating everything, i cant go out with friends...all school & house & chores...

but see i began to appreciate it when i graduated in college...i realize how much she loved me and her being strict is also for my own good...i finished my school with a good grades, job was offered to me a week before my graduation...and have never been dated anybody during my school years & im very happy and glad & proud of that...

i guess mother knows best!
