I have a Scorpio and have done over 60,000 km with it in Qatar.  It is surprisingly good for the bad roads in the Industrial Area.  Acceleration is slow in the 3rd, going to 4th gear, but I get by by accelerating in the middle lane, till I reach nearly 100, before shifting to the fast lane.

One disconcerting thing is it rocks from side to side like a railway carriage once you exceed a speed of about 90.  There are 2 theories for this:  one is a rear axle bush needs to be changed.  Another is that the centre of gravity is too high.

The AC becomes a mess, because the AC filter gets choked very fast with dust and I get it cleaned with compressed air and have reused it for several years that way.  Finally will have to get it changed though.

It is not recommended for travel from one country to another, for example from here to Saudi.  The petrol tank, for 1 thing is too small, probably only 35 litres.  So every other day I have to fill petrol.

It is good only for in Qatar running.

The parts you won't get in India, since the model in Qatar is fitted with a French Reno engine and is not available in India.  But the present dealer, ie. Honda imports whatever parts are needed.

Some of the plastic parts are not suitable for the 50++ degree climate in Qatar, and might crack, but sill the body is better than that of Land Rover Discovery, with almost every part cracking with the heat in Qatar.

Overall it is not that bad, and quite handsome, but if I had a choice I would not buy another one in Qatar
