Hearing, listening and a 3rd category where you are devoted to what you listen to.

I'd claim, at least for myself, that human beings loves to do it in the following order:

Talk whenever we can

Hear the others to get them to hear you when it's your turn

Listen when you feel there will be benefit out of it;

The last categorey migh only be booked for spiritual speeches for some of the beleivers.
