Since my own hair has been going through the same thing as well and its so stressful sometimes  i just wash it and put it in a bun, i used to straighten my hair all the time but stopped for a few months now to see what the real people was but its still the same and its so annoying!

installing a water filter that attaches to a shower head is a great idea
