You are absolutely correct Sarah, these gentlemen who are flaunting their English language skills, did not have to put slightest of effort to learn the language. They grew up exposed to the language in the laps of their native English speaking parents. Ask them to speak one proper sentence in Arabic and they will start looking wayward. You, on the other hand, were born to a Arabic speaking parent. No one would have spoken English around you until you where wise enough to decide yourself you are going to take up the language as your career. And voila, now you are able to converse with the native speakers. All credit to you. Even these 'gurus' agree that you have just a few minor flaws left in your language. Why not take it as a constructive criticism and iron them out. Even I, as a non-native speaker, feel that your language skills need a bit of face lift, beautification and finishing touches. More so because you are aspiring to teach children.
