I think Qatar attitude towards tourism could be better but I have a large amount of respect for them because they are keeping hold of their culture and principles.
Why should they start introducing alcohol in to their streets if it against their religion, culture and principles?
I am from the UK and have seen what alcohol does to people - the streets end up being full of drunken people, staggering around, fighting, vomiting, swearing... why would Qatar want that?
