There are a number of pet relocators in Doha that can assist.

If you contact Janet Berry on contact@qatarpetrelocators, she will give you the best possible advise.

Coming into Qatar there is no quarentine. Pets have to be older than 4months and have had their rabies vaccine at least 30 days before entry.

Taking animals back to the UK for holidays is a tricky one, as yes, there is no more quarantine, however your dog has to have had and passed his rabies blood test before you can attempt this. (This advice is for returning to UK or EU. (Please talk to your vet about this and try do it in UK as its much cheaper than doing it here in Qatar)

Also note, that DEFRA's rule is that if you bring a dog into the UK, you cannot move it out again until it's resided there for six months after entry, which is a problem that has been encountered by a few people this year, when they took them home.

This No Quarantine thing is less than a year old, so do check with DEFRA before leaving as to what the consequenses will be, as its still new to all of us.

Hope this helps a bit.
