nomerci is right. It is not that I am not qualified to get the job, it is that immigration has changed regarding female visas which I did not know before coming here. They prefer companies hire local females that are on husband or father residence sponsership so to hire locals and save money etc.
What frustrates me is, everyday at my husband's work, he processes visas to bring female and males here, so I know if his company can and does do it, what the heck is going on with all the other companies, like QF and QP to name 2??? I was offered a great 6 mo. free-lance job with QF. they should be able to easily give me a visa, they do it all day for expats, so why not me who is already here? Something weird here. idk. just sayn.
My latest interview was great until he said lets bring in the HR manager to discuss what visa we can do, she is the one that said right now for Her company, there are no female visas. So maybe it is depending on size of company, or quota of what kind of staff they can hire.
