If you are concerned about the quality - I'd suggest buying one and bringing it with you (most airlines carry them free of charge). Depending on where you shop - quality can be hit or miss, and this being Qatar, your selection will be limited or maybe non-existant when you first arrive because the shops do run out of items (I spent 2 weeks looking for table salt at one point - none in the hypermarkets or supermarkets, go figure) However, I am happy to report the salt supply has never suffered a similar shortage since :-)
