I had the same issues while trying to close a postpaid vodafone connection. They seem to do a real good job at screwing things up for us. They kept shuttling me between the store and the customer care putting me in the same spot I was before I started .Ended up getting a lovely Vodafone bill though it was confirmed by customer service my account was closed .

I really dont know why they complicate things by putting customer service into the picture when all they have to do is close my account from the store itself.

Anyways good luck in the headcrackng task of dealing with the customer service of vodafone coz its probably one of the most annoying things I've dealt with out here.
