In general Wi-Fi is slower than direct connection always. I don't know about the Router which Q-tel has installed for your fibire, but that might not be going to 100Mbps on Wi-Fi.
To fix this you don't need a router that does fibre, you just need a good router which does faster speeds on wi-fi. Just output the connection from the Fibre Optics Q-tel Router to this new Router.
Other thing to consider is that your Iphone and PSP will also have maximum speed limits.
