The permission was given by the Supreme Court bench headed by Cheif Justice of India itself. I don't think think the judiciary at that level is corrupted. If the ambassador of the country guarantees the court the return of the citizens after the vacation, any country may let the accused go for a short vacation. It may be seen as a kind gesture from a nation known for its hospitality......
