i dont like console gaming :/ no comparison with what graphics a computer can give you :P

you see i was in the same situation a while back confused between what monitor to choose

there are 2 choices i suggest you should look at personally i dont like 3D neither i recommend them :P

first you should see what gpu's you have and will they be able to support high end monitors or not do you have SLI's or single GPU ? and what gpu do you have

the first choice you have is 1440p 60hz and the second is 120Hz 1080p
both are different and no you cannot get a 1440p 120Hz monitor

if you go for 1440p you will need a pretty strong GPU and if you go for 120Hz i don't think you will need either
