Kudos to the fire brigade authorities indeed! As for the caller he/she did what they assumed was right on impulse. Perhaps they should have attempted better to verify first but who knows? In cases of fires many times the terrible calamities befall very fast and the caller would have known that even five minutes spent trying to verify could be a disaster so better get the professionals involved. Why assume them to be drunk and the likes? Suspicion can truly be an evil thing! The caller ultimately only intended good for their neighbor. Better to be them than those who turn a blind eye on the pain and suffering of others!
