I have 5 year old XC60. It looks like new, has the best a/c of any car I've ever been in. Great performance - I love outstripping the Land Cruisers from the lights - handles like a car, and has never broken down. Our main reason for purchase, which no one seems to mention here, is that it is the safest car in it's class - ideal for a country which officially has the most dangerous roads in the world. It has City Safety, Blind spot indicators and Adaptive cruise control - 2 years before Ford 'invented' it. It's full leather interior and looks utterly bland new. I could not recommend it highly enough. After 5 years we're now leaving and selling it for 100k - cost us 200k new. That level of depreciation is pretty reasonable to me.
