I don't believe anyone on here said there were no rape crimes in urban cities; dressing provocatively does not mean that it will lead to crimes. Does it influence it? Maybe. Are men of the 21st Century capable of co-existing with women without thinking of them sexually and acting upon it? I hope so. In the Western culture, women can dress how they want; it does not mean they want men to touch them.
I agree that people should be respectful of the culture that they are living in; however, I do not agree with hypocrisy of culture here. Don't judge people because of their beliefs or how they want to dress. Don't impose religious views and claim that your opinion is the ONLY correct opinion. Stick to your beliefs, but don't try and change my views; I'll be more apt to respect you and your thinking. Treat other human beings respect, no matter their country of origin, or their job. I see people all the time not cleaning up after themselves in the mall; people don't respect other people here. How can you expect to gain any respect if you don't show it? Hold doors open for people; don't cut people off while driving; clean up your garbage; say 'thank you,' 'please,' 'you're welcome.' Be compassionate. Teach your kids respect by respecting others.
It's the barbaric nature of man to think women are property; it's the naive mind of man to think how someone dresses should determine how they should be treated.
