I have made many tourist visa's for my guests in the hotel. Never ever able to extend more than one month.
(Long time ago it was 14 days tourist visa and could be able to extend up to two months if i am not wrong)
As Shaheen services mentioned, it can be a sole discretion of the Captain. But as per my experience we never did it before.
This is a clarification from my side only.
PN: I am not a visa expert. But trying to give maximum correct information which I know.
