Hi Raja... 16K is not going to be a good salary unfortunately... The fact and the reality is that Qatar is very expensive... Study the fine lines including the unavailability of retirement plan or citizenship pathway, high turnover in most of the companies, inability/difficulty to change work residency for some oil companies, etc... Investigate a lot on the details, the 16k is the top of the iceberg but as the say goes "the devil is in the details", I wish you best of luck but if I were you, I would either renegotiate or reject the offer... It is your life and you struggled a lot to become a senior engineer, do not underestimate your value.
