HELLO GUYZ...JUST WANNA ASK...DOES A FAMILY VISIT VISA REQUIRES AN AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT? IF NEEDED DOES IT REQUIRE AN ORIGINAL COPY OR EMAIL COPY CAN BE USED?JUST WANNA CLEAR THIS ONE BECAUSE SOME ARE TELLING NO NEED FOR AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT SINCE ITS A FAMILY VISIT...SO IT MEANS YOUR FAMILY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STAY.THANKS IN ADVANCE
Is it required to send the Affidavit of Support to DFA for authentication (red ribbon)?

yes that's correct, you need the original copy to be sent to your family member to be shown the same at the Airport in the Philippines upon day of travel to Qatar.
If colleagues are going home you can send it through them so your family member can get it from them; otherwise, you need to send through Courier Mail like DHL or LBC to the Philippines.
Original of the Affidavit of Support is needed by the
holder of a family visit visa.
