HIya QLs,

weather in doha is really changing with the mild cool breezes in the evening!!! greetings to all....

ok! now coming to the point...I had my wive's medical done for family visit visa extension, this was done in last month. Now I have the permenant visa stamped for her and probably by next week we'll start to complete the formalities. My question here is as we have done one medical do we have to do the same again for RP.

thanks in advance

hiya sun,

Sorry for that confusion...infact i got her passport yesterday from my PRO and there I could find a new visa issued which was valid for three months and PRO told me that that was the permenant visa upgradation but then we have to complete the finger print and medical for the resident permit. anyways leaving aside the confusion from your answers I presume or rather could confirm that

"since I had my wive's medical done last month, there is a possibility for the exemption of the medical for RP"...really that place sucks and there is absolutely nothing called "cleaniliness and hygeine"...anyways once we are alienated live like aliens.

How could we confirm the same since there are no medical reports given to us when it is done for visit visa extension.

ok, ok.. i got you.. the Family visa is stamped. Now you applied for another (different process) process Residence Permit. The answer to your question is:

- if the next Medical Exam scheduled within 3 month from her first medical exam, she will get an exemption from repeating the test. If 3 months passed from her first medical, she will have to do it again..

I am confused here...you said her "permenant visa stamped ..".. so what do you mean by finalizing formalities and geting her RP??

have she got a sticker in her passport? If yes, this IS an RP. Formalities are finished. May be all she needs is to get her ID card. But ID card is just a document confirming her RP, not an RP itself. RP is stamped in her passport.
