Actually the word "free" visa is a misnomer. It should be called a "slavery" visa because anyone who sells you this kind of illegal visa will be able to extort and blackmail a great deal of money from you and you won't be able to do a thing about it because you will be in Qatar illegally.

Expatriates itself discovered that name "Free Visa".. it is common in KSA.

Its like ur sponsor is giving u the full permission to work anywhere u wish. May be u need to pay them monthly/ when u renew ur RP.

As someone said, it is illegal.. u can work only under ur sponsor. Eventhough these types of visas are common. Becoz u will get release from the sponsor.

Yes you can! if you’re planning to do some thing on your own these visa are ideal. If not it’s illegal… provided that you get the NOC for 6 months (renew every 6months) from your sponsor to the company that your planning to work.

Nothing called free visa.

1. Working visa

2. family visit visa (6 months)

3. family residant visa (RP)

4. business visa

5. tourist visa

6. visa on arrival (fees of the visa should be paid and it is for maximim of 2 weeks only)via Qatarairways or depends on the nationality allowed in to Qatar with no previous visa issuance.

7. Multiple reentry visa for business and under the sponsorship of a company.

NO MORE VISAS.

I know you mean by freelancer but my friend it is still illegal but it is only good when you do business otherwise if u r working with someone and your sponor is someone else so it is illegal so there is no concept of free visa in GCC
