anyone travelling to GCC by-road?
Hi,
anyone planning to visit friends/friend or just taking a time out in UAE/Oman/Bahrain by-road?
sure you need a transit visa, therefore I've applied today.
just learned from the agent that Saudi Embassy doha will stamp on ONE-WAY transit visa this time; and I need to get the return Transit from Saudi Embassy in the country of destination.
This is new for me.
Could anyone share the experience please.
should i take the roadtrip in this situation ?
considering the limited eid holidays, I'd prefer not to use them all in this hassle.
thanks
thanks syria man
but is it obligatory for the guaranteer to be qatari? and what kind of guarantee? cheques?
To travel by mortgaged car you need bank permission for your journey
The bank will give you one release letter after you authenticate needed document for that
And first and the most important , guarantor for you here in Qatar .
Never heard of a one way transit.. It is normally for 30 days from the date of issue with two transit from disembarkment point.
having plans to travel during eid vacations ?
as i said , maybe these rules applied only in hajj time,
acctually ...i prepared transit exit one time, i spent my vication and return back after one month and i didn't need to apply for another transit
I am not sure, but someone here posted earlier that according to Qatar Central Bank, all cars pending loans can not travel outside Qatar.
Haven't seen any official documents, but a quick chat with your bank/ insurance company would be better.
regarding your response, do you mean that you got one way transit visa to enter and exit KSA (within 72 hours) for UAE and on your way back they just let you pass, without any visa/transit formalities ??
I'm little worried, .. so kindly elaborate . thanks
since the topic is open , i want to know if i have a car with installment to some bank , can i travel without any problems because i heard there is a new rule but i am not sure if they applied it already
i was plannning to do the same(UAE), but i tried before and i didn't need a transit visa in the way back.
maybe it is a processure they are doing only in Hajj(pilgrimage) time.
