to apply for a family tourist visa to France should we make only one appointment?
I hope someone can help me, I'm trying to call the French embassy but they're not picking up.
The thing is, on their website, they mention that each passport requires a seperate appointment to apply for visa, but does this mean that, as a family of 4, with a small kid and a baby, we should make 4 appointments? or maybe only 2, for my husband and I? or maybe my husband can apply on our behalf?
I'm confused and my time is very tight.
I'd appreciate your help
Well getting any info out of the French Embassy is a big pain.. here is what I would do...
Take 2 (or maybe even 3 or 4) appointments for the same day for yourself and your family. One of your appointments will be first, and at the time they call you, mention that you are a family try submitting all the documents. That way if they refuse at least you still have a chance for the same day.
In the past I have seen families going to the counter at the same time. But better to have a hedge in having multiple appointments the same day.
I know.. but I can't leave work twice, once to inquire, once to apply
With all due respect if they are not answering the phone, why not "going" to the embassy consular service and ask them for the right information.
The public forum could be misleading!!
