Applying Familiy RP AFTER exiting Visit Visa

My wife was here on visit visa for two months and then left in the month of October. Now that I have my 6 months bank statements and rent agreement, I want to apply for her Family RP. My questions are:

1. Can I apply for her Family RP immediately, or there is a "waiting period"? If so, how long?

I heard that people who came on visit visa would need to wait for 3 months before applying it. I am not sure if this is true, because some resident from UAE came and went multiple times within a short period.

2. Do I need to provide all documentations again? My logic is that since visit visa was approved, there must be records of us in Immigration, so I would just need to provide the additional documents such as bank statements and rent agreements.

Getting all of those documents attested again would be a big effort :(

There is no waiting time, you can apply even if she's still here in Doha. Yes, you will need all documents again, and also understand that Residence visa requires more and detailed documents than visit.

no need to wait, you can process her visa immediately. All documents required again.
