I am currently situated in UAE as Civil Engineer and I was offered a job in Doha, Qatar. I would like to ask if I can use in Qatar my degree certificates attested in Ministry of Foreign Affairs in my home country and also UAE Embassy in my home country that I use before here in UAE for processing my UAE Residence Visa? Thanks

Hello Guys!

I am here in Dubai, my 4 documents all attested by Philippine DFA, but only one was attested by UAE Embassy in Manila for I don't know reason why?

I have an offer letter to Qatar, and I need my docs to be attested by Qatar Embassy-Dubai. But before that, Qatar Embassy directed me to Dubai Ministry of Foreign Affairs for attestation before they stamp.

However, Dubai Foreign Affairs, only attested only one as this is the only one attested by UAE Embassy in Manila. So,Qatar Embassy-Dubai only attested one, leaving the other 3 unattested.

Is there an easy way to attest the other 3 docs by Qatar Embassy-Dubai, coz i can not afford to send back home the other 3 docs as this will take long time? Is it possible that other 3 docs can be attested in Qatar Foreign Affairs?

Regards

Hi Guys,

I just want to ask how long will it take to process the working visa in qatar? I received my offer letter since November 2011 but until now im still waiting for the visa.

Does it really take this long to process?

Qatar has nothing to do with the stamp in UAE Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE. And, please do not ever say that to a local in the government. Yes, you have to go to the Philippine Embassy here. You apply in the morning and you will get the stamp in the afternoon. Then, you have to get it stamped at the ministry of foreign affairs, takes only minutes.

hi aimee, you mean in your case you did not use in Qatar your school certificates before that you use in getting residence visa in UAE. It means I need to get a new one again as back to step 1 again?thanks

I also came from UAE with stamps from UAE Embassy Philippines and Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE. But, Qatar is independent from UAE so you have to go to Philippine Embassy to authenticate it again before you go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. That's it!

thanks Mayartolba, when did you apply your Qatar RP visa? It means no need to take again in my home country and get attestation in Qatar Embassy in my home country. I can use the certificates that I use in obtaining my UAE residence visa before?
