i had my 2nd baby last week at hammad hospital. my husband processed her birth certificate last 2 days ago. he was given a receipt and told that he will claim it at CID? it was because i was not under his sponsor, i am under my company's sponsor and he is also under a different company. we did not get the info that much, please help...
can anyone give me the proper procedure to claim the birth certificate... thanks

There shouldn't be any problem if that's already your second child. Just bring your documents (i.e. marriage contract, passports) when you try to get your baby's birth certificate. Try to accompany your husband if possible when you go to CID. Does your husband know where it is?

I see no problem if you and your husband are under different sponsors.

Several couples / family members are like that.

It is not clear why the birth certificate was to be taken from the CID.

Nonetheless, I see no problem likewise if you are to take the BC from CID.
