Business Visa
Mga Kabayans!
Please help me shed some light regarding the visa I will use to come there in Qatar. Hindi na nga daw madaling kumuha ng visit visa pag hindi magkaapelyido. The problem is, I'm not using my husband's surname yet kasi when I applied dito sa US to work, di ako nag change status. And even if my husband wanted to sponsor me for a family visit visa, may conflict din sa company nya kasi he is working in a company which is not his sponsor. He is at Arab Engineering Bureau now but his sponsor is a Qatari na nalugi ang construction business, but until now, di pa rin sya narerelease.
Now, my husband wants to get a business visa for me from Cleopatra Travels. My question is, since I'm coming from the US and not from the Philippines, does my business visa still need to undergo the same process na sinasabi dito sa ibang thread, like translation, etc? Do I still need to undergo medical exam, too?
Last April, I came to Qatar via Visit visa from Fahad Travels.I just presented the visa and the hotel reservation and that was it! Ganito din ba ngayon, I'll just present the business visa and that's it? April 8, 2008 ang dating ko jan, via Emirates (New York-Dubai-Doha) then balik ako dito sa US ng April 30. I already bought a ticket kasi akala ko, ganon lang kadaling kumuha ng visa, just like last year.
Please share new facts para maliwanagan ako! Salamat po ng marami!!!
hi janet, yes, kaya lang naman mahigpit is dahil sa Philippines ka manggagaling. If you come from a country other than the philippines, you dont have to undergo all those lousy crap procedure anymore.
I also went to Qatar last january under Business Visa, and I'm from kuwait, and for some reason i didnt even have to show the copy of my business visa to the immigration upon arrival. Parang when they input your name/ PP # in their terminals, makikita na agad yung vis anumber na nakatag sayo.
anyways, whether you are coming with a business visa or visit visa, doesnt matter, its alright, basta hindi ka sa pinas manggagaling. period :) Nothing to worry :). All you need is a visa and you can then smile :) Just make sure you have a return ticket, and you are a valid resident (or whatever) dyan sa US. These are not strict pre-requisites, pero maganda na yung sure ;)
