Can I (a bachelor) sponsor my brother for a Family Visit Visa? What are the Requirements?

Hi everyone! I am new here in QatarLiving, hope you can help me out with my concern.

I am a bachelor (Filipino) here in Doha and works as a Finance Consultant for one of the Big4 firms. I have been residing here in Doha for 7 months now. I am planning to bring my brother here in Doha through a family visit visa (so that he can also look for a job here, he is a registered nurse back in the Phils).

Can I apply for his visa even if I am a bachelor here in Doha? Also, what are the requirements? Hope you can help me out on this query!

Thanks so much in advance Kabayans! :D

Yes you can sponsor your brother as per qatar law, the immigration people will see the passport copies for the same father name ( i do not know if you can sponsor his wife but i think you can), but to get a visit visa for any direct relatives it is to be done in main immigration dept in garaffa only, and your application has to be signed by the 3 star captain then only the visit visa application will be accepted.(visa fees QR 200 per month)

ADVICE: First bring your brother, wait untill he gets a job and let him sponsor his family. (just an advice).

If your salary is more than QR 7,000 and above and as you've said you are more than 7 months already then u can get your brother but i suggest that rather than getting him, let him apply instead in Universal Staffing Makati and apply as a nurse in Hamad Hosp.

As per the law NO . your wife should have resident permit to bring any of your direct/indirect relatieves.
