You cannot sponsor your friend.. Try to bring him with TOURIST VISA..

U cannot be a sponsor for your friend even your family here, contact hotels like Ramada,Bustan,Doha palace,to get 1 month tourist visa, cost approx. 1000/-

yes , on a Tourism (hotel) visa for 14 days. but whether it could be extended that i am not sure.

Approach the Hotels and Travel Agents who are arranging such visas. You cannot sponsor your friend.

there are other ways to get your friend here but it wont be as cheap as a visiting visa...

it can definitely be done if some money is spent...
