Can I obtain a Work Permit with a 1 year degree?

I'm considering a job offer in Doha but need clarification on whether it's possible to obtain a Work Permit in the Construction industry, if my degree was completed within 1 year (full time).

I have a BSc(Hons) Construction Management [1st Class] from the University of West London (formerly Thames Valley University). This qualification is traditionally 3 years full time however I received exemption for prior learning and completed it in 1 year.

My prospective employer in Doha said it may be tricky to obtain a visa for a 1 year degree but I need to know before accepting the offer, if this is going to be an issue.

If there is anyone out there able to offer some insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.

If your certificate says its "three year course" then you are good to go
