My wife and I have both been offered a job in Qatar, will my children, both under 3 years old be able to accommpany us on visit visas until my RP is sorted. If yes how much will it cost and what will the duration of the visit visa be?

If this is your first time in Qatar, it is better to know the situation here first before bringing your child.

As you said, your contract is not Family Status.

In this case, you need to find an accommodation for both of you and your child.

You can always apply a resident visa for your child once you are here in Qatar but with your own expense.

Also, one thing you can do, try to bargain for a family status contract if you can with your employer.

Living status here is quite high, medicines are expensive too, and not to mention the price of the Baby's products.

Weight things up first.

Hope this will help.

Thank you for your help...we were both contracted seperately for the same company. If it is that is single status contracts because the company want to escape the benefits that comes with family status, would my kids be able to get visit visas then?? How long does a visa approval normally take?

Your company should take care of your visa and that of your family. Ask your company HR or mandoub. Your children certainly will be able to accompany you if your employer has you on family status.
