Can my family retain RP while living overseas ?

Hi all, need info on this subject.

Once my family obtain their RP, can they go and live overseas but still maintain the permit?

Is there a laws or ruling regarding minimum amount of time they have to be in the country without losing the residency ?

Does it mean that they can keep the RP by repeatedly coming before 6 months of the last exit, spend some time in Qatar then go back home again ?

Hello,

Yes R/P of your family is valid for 6 months from the date of exit from Qatar. Within 6 months they have to enter in qatar.
