I will tell you, its all about your lifestyle, if you have a knack to be a wise spender, then there is no issue living here in Qatar, but if your lifestyle is to spend a lot and wasting your money to not so important things, then it would be a problem. Again its all about how you spend your money. You can also do part-time jobs, It depends upon how you handle the situation. Some Nationalities survive with that kind of salary. That would mean you can only eat Kubos and Masala everyday. Peace

That is a labour's salary.

Most of the crafts such as helpers, carpenters, masons would be getting under 1500 Qr per month.

This does not include boarding, lodging, laudary, transportation, medical insurance, visa and tickets costs. All such expenses are covered by the company itself.

So if you are willing to work as a direct labour and have similar conditions in your contract, then you can easily survive. We have more than 10,000 direct manpower in Qatar, which works on 1500 or even less.

(maid) who also would receive free accommodation and food. For anyone else, especially if you are educated, this salary would definitely be hard to live on.

IF ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO SURVIVE? THEN HOW COME THEY SURVIVE. THEY'VE BEEN WORKING FOR MORE THAN 3 YEARS AND UNTIL NOW, THEY ARE STILL ALIVE. THAT MEANS THEY CAN SURVIVE. IT WILL DEPEND ON YOUR LIFESTYLE DUDE.
