Can UAE banks take action against me in Qatar or any GCC country??

I had credit card defaults in the UAE for which i was penalised and also faced imprisonment. now one of the banks has come to know that i am working in Qatar & they have my mobile #, company name & post box number.

please advise me how they can proceed against me? what action they can take against me here in Qatar? can they approach my salary transfer bank and deduct payments from my account? can they move any legal case against me in Qatari courts? can they move any immigration proceedings against me??

my visa for the UAE is still valid.

I had set up business in UAE and had run into losses which resulted in credit card and loan defaults. but the banks had filed cases against me in the UAE & i had faced prison term on those cases.

please advise me. is it safe for me to be in Qatar or any GCC country??

Is your issue is solved ?

You have to submit your insurence claim with all the

geniune documents and wait for the banks reply.

But now it seems the bank already suit against you regarding this issue. So u have to get a professional advice from a Lawer he will help u to solve this problem.

Thankyou.

BE REAL AND UR ISSUE WILL BE SOLVED UNLESS THAT U WILL GET A BIG ISSUE. U ARE WORKING NOW SO WHY DONT U WANT TO PAY UR DEBTS ...AT LEAST QR 500 A MONTH OR LESS DEPENDING ON UR AGREEMENT WITH THE BANK. GOOD LUCK

If you owe someone money they can take action against you, thats what courts are for, anywhere in the world. Banks are well set up to claim against you here or anywhere else you may go. Your only hope is to disappear or try to reach an agreement to pay off what you owe. As you have already disappeared from uae they will rightly be suspicious of you but if you are honest you can succeed. What worries me is that you have set up a business before in UAE without having any real idea what normal business practice is. Also that you appear to be working illegally here as you claim to have current UAE visa. Try to do the honest thing, it's much easier in the long term.

You cannot run away to such obligations, First, its about time to look at possibilities of how to settle it with your current capacity. Otherwise, this is going to be a problem for you and your future in Qatar.

Good luck

Unfortunately, this is true that whatever you have borrowed plus accrued interest in UAE you must PAY back to get yourself free from debt burdens; otherwise they may check with Qatar CID and if found guilty in any financial transaction, will impact on your Qatar visa process in future

UAE Banks Can Get Hold Of You Again Even You Are Working In Qatar. So YOu Better Start Making Payments Or You Are Gone.

Good Luck
