Can we enforce this. How long the company can hold if they dont want the employee to come to dubai.

Is there any method.

Without going to Lab.

It would be better to cancell the RP here prior to proceed to UAE. If possible you may wait till the expiry date of your visa, resign the job ahead of time towards official cancellation. good luck.

One can keep the residency of 2 GCC countries when transferred by the same company from one GCC branch to other..Inshort, the sponsor should be the same..

Check this link:

In your case, what you are thinking is absolutely a wrong move..Better cancel your QATAR's RP first..Don't play with the future of your kids..

I recently shifted from Dubai to Doha and Its impossible to get the Qatar RP while having the Dubai / Abu Dhabi RP on your Passport. However, when I was in Dubai, I enquired in Dubai Immigration department, whether they have any problem stamping the visa on the passport, while Qatar visa is stamped, they said no problem. Now, some time they say some thing and when you go for that in actual you find some thing else. So better to double check once again and then go for it. Rules are different here in Qatar and in UAE.

Yes you may get UAE RP without cancelling Qatar one as per 2009 status(current I am not sure). But vice versa (getting Qatar RP without UAE cancelling) not possible

I think you have to cancel the Qatar RP first because this RP is also based on employment.

You may not get UAE RP without cancelling Qatar ID in some cases, to avoid all such hassles cancel your Qatar ID and can proceed, that seems to be better option, if u are planning to go on Tourist visa, then getting admission foryour kids on tourist visa is not possible,

No. You can only be resident in one GCC country at a time.
