CAN A WIFE SPONSOR HER HUSBAND?
hello! can u pls give me an advice. me and my husband are here in qatar and we are working under the sponsorship of different companies. he is not quite satisfied with his company (salary and advancement wise) however he is was able to stay in that companyfor 5 years because of me (he doesn't want to leave me here in qatar). on the other hand, i was lucky enough to have a nice job with a better salary than he is earning. the problem now is that, i still want to stay with my job and i want him to be with me here in qatar. He tried talking to his superior but they said, they will not give release. do you have any idea, what are the alternatives that we can do? can i apply sponsorship for him? what visa can i get for him? what are the requirements? how much is the salary bracket? pls. help. his contract will soon be finished.
me too, i do have the same problem now. please advise the procedure to be able to sponsor husband and children. Thanks.

I hope this helps,,,my friend's husband just went back to the philippines. Planning to get him back here under wife's sponsor. You had the same thing,,,SHE has greater salary and opportuniy than HE.
I think with all the proper documents you can send him back to the philippines after the contract and apply for Family visa of six months for your husband.
But , you need to have....NOC from your company. stating that they have no against for you to sponsor your husband or any family member as well as stating your salary at present. It should not be less than 2015 Riyals. You must also be sure that in your Iqama or Qatar ID...your profession is whats written in it. My friends case, she works as a document controll but when she applied for family visa she learned that her visa is KADAMA visa, wherein her profession written is kadama so they rejected the application at once.. Marriage certificates,,attested in Phil. Embassy. And your husbands previous company should be willing to give NOC at least for your husband tobe able to work with another company.
I think your husband cant work that long under wife sponsor or family sponsor unlike HUsband sponsor or father sponsorship.
Unfortunately, as with many things here, the answer is yes and no.
I was able to get sponsored by my wife soon after we arrived here, though it took 3 attempts and a bit of begging!
They seem to keep changing the rules on this, sometimes it's a straight no, sometimes it depends on your profession and nationality.
