Canadians driving to UAE -

Has any Canadian  travelled from Doha to Dubai without a visa handed from the UAE embassy here in Doha?.

My wife went this morning to the embassy and a lady officer told her that we don't need a visa from here, that we will get it at the border.  She saw all the documents and even asked another colleague to double check.

I want to make sure my family can go through the border without any problem.

Thanks.

Hi, we just came back from the agency that issues the visas to Saudi and they told us that they are not issuing Transit visa to Canadians anymore, thay if we leave our passports, they will stay there for one month.

Do you have any info about this?

Very dissapointed........

Thanks.

Just remember you cannot leave Qatar if your vehicle is financed. If your bank is good they can give you a letter valid for 30 days to take your car out of the country. You can buy insurance at the border for Saudi Arabia and the at the UAE border. It’s straight forward and quick. Remember to have the ladies dressed appropriately to travel through Saudi Arabia.

I do it all the time. Cost ya 105QR for the visa on arrival at the border. You will need a transit visa for Saudi Arabia
