Certificates Attested in UAE - Valid in Qatar
Hi All,
My marriage certificate was attested in UAE while i was working there and also my children were issued UAE birth certificates which are attested by MOFA UAE since they were born in UAE.
Im planning to get them on visit visa to qatar.
could anyone tell me if the certificates needs to be re attested in qatar by MOFA qatar? or could i submit my documents directly.
has anyone gone through a similar process????
Thanks for the info new_2_doha...
very helpful indeed...
The attestation you have made is valid for the relevant country only, ie UAE
You need to get your marriage certificate attested from Qatar Embassy in India and Kids' birth certificate from UAE embassy in Qatar or Qatar embassy in UAE as they are issued by UAE govt. Then both has to be attested from MOFA, Doha.
This is based on my experience for the RP when I moved to Doha from Dubai.
I was in same sit in edu cert:
i went to mofa, they said me; if i could bring stamp from indian embassy, they can provide stamp.
Indian embassy, and later from mofa... no issues.
