Change of sponsorship

Dudes,

Is it possible to change sponsorship if your working visa is less than one year. My current sponsor will provide NOC - release letter. As per advice to my next possible employer/sponsor they will provide their on visa. So the solution is I need to exit to my country of origin and back here in Doha with their visa. I need advice to those who try on this offer. Is there a possibility that my next sponsor can't provide the new working visa?

GIO_2008, everyone is saying different things, because every case is different. to be honest even if there is a law, there are always exceptions... So let's say the law states: you have to work with your first sponsor at least for 1 year in order to be able to change the sponsor.. but.. soooo many cases when the person worked much less than 1 year, and was able to change the sponsorship with no any problem whatsoever.. and other way around.... so there is a law, and 1001 exceptions and 'specials cases' for this law.. and also as SAMI_X sais, new law are coming out every once in a while... even the highly professional person sometimes gets lost.. yesterday the penalty for overstay on business visa was QR 500 per day, today they had to pay and it turned out to be only QR200 per day.. the rule has been changed… 4 hours ago!!

'go figure'.. :)

so the best way: GO AND DO IT, and THEN you will know what is the rule for YOU.

everyday there's a new law out.The latest law they put into operation now is that you need to have worked for 2 years with your last employer before you can switch to another sponsor....go figure

Dracula,

How confirmed is that information that one can switch employers/sponsors in Qatar with an NOC after completing one year of employment?

Unfortunately, I am having a hard time confirming any employment laws or guidelines here, everyone says different things. Do you know anyone who wen t through this and were successful?

Thanks

with the NOC from the sponsor, you join with the next job

there can be 6-month releease letter from the present sponsor, allowing you to work for the second company.

pls dont have sentiments and dont decide to go homecoutnry... there can be chances, the second sponsor find antohr suitable guy and offer job to him. So grab the job and stat wroking,,,, the procdures u check with any Mandoop

1 year under your current sponsor. After 1 year you can change it.In this time you can work for the new sponsor with a "release" paper signed by current sponsor and legalized by Labor Dept.

Who advised you to exit? Did you verify with the mandoob of your new company? My colleague was given release and his RP is not yet 1 year but he was not advised to exit. I think there are certain rules in different companies. So better asked them what you need to do.
