Dear all,

I am a mother of a two year old child, she is here in Qatar since December thru visit visa arrange by my company. 2 weeks before the visa expiration my company told me that i cannot provide family visa for my baby as i am a lady, so I asked my husband but unfortunately he has a low salary, but still we wanted to try. Now every 2 weeks I am extending her visa. Recently i met someone who will help us but after i paid half of the amount agreed he told me that all documents should be in arabic. Now we are running out of time, if ever i provide it is there a possibility that it will be accepted considering i am the only with a bank statement...PLEASE HELP!!! any advice....im losing my mind now....

If your salary is above 4,000 riyals, you can directly sponsor your child. All you need from your company is a NO OBJECTION LETTER that you will be sponsoring your child. They can't do anything about it as the child is already in Qatar.

I will ask my friend, a mandoop for a company I used to work before. Maybe he knows how to do this. But i could only give you the feedback tomorrow after 6pm as I don't have any access to the site from my office computer.

I won't promise anything yet but I'll see what we can do about it.

Who came up with this cruel and inhumane rule?

Its possible if the Qatari sponsor of the mother intervenes directly. It may require a written request from him or a visit by him to the immigration department. If not, any other powerful Qatari puts in a word and it can be done legally.

Anyone who can help her in bringing her two year old kid to Qatar. Your help would be sincerely appreciated and if you have never done a good deed this is a good time to unite a two year old with her mother

will try to keep this thread alive

There are many resourceful Qatari women on this forum. I hope someone is kind enough to unite the mother and her son
