Guys,

I wish to go Dubai during Eid. I have RP and family status in Qatar. The concern is that I have my profession eligible for on arrival visa, but my father-in-law who is also planning to come with us, though he is having RP here in Qatar, doesn't have his profession which is eligible for on arrival visa. But as a family can I get him on arrival visa as is the case for my wife and kids. Anyone has any experience or knowledge about please share it friends.

rasknr, OP is not the Sponsor of his father in law to take him as dependent. @OP, If your father in law's profession is not eligible for on arrival visa don't take the risk of taking him with you without arranging a visa for him as they are very strict in on arrival visas. Either you check with someone in Dubai to arrange the visa for your in law or check with the Embassy if you can get it.

mostly you can get it, you can meet Senior Immigration officer and covey to them, but make sure your dad PP name and your or your wife PP's Father column name should be same

basically dependents will get visa on arrival, so if your dad was under your sponsorship (parent visa) he wud have much better chances of getting a visa on arrival with you, in this case chances are slim, not worth trying.

UAE embassy in qatar does not issue visas.

Maybe get him an airline visa - emirates/etihad or airarabia - and let him travel by flight while you reach by car.
