Calebs thats generally how it goes here...the rules keep changing and no one has a clue what is actually required. I too heard from a friend that an exit permit is required even on visit visa. Best would be to check with airport immigration or perhaps someone working in the Travel agency.

Hi

If the stay is beyond one month through Visit Visa, then an exit Permit is required.

Thanks

If you are a lady working with a company here in Qatar, then you need to get an exit permit from your company. But if your visit has been sponsored by your husband, then you & your son don't need an exit permit.

If you are a male 18 years or more then you need to get an exit permit in any case.

Children up to the age of 18years (i.e. 17 years and 11 months) don't need any exit permit.
