Exit permit when transiting through Doha?
Hopefully I'll be able to explain my question :
I will be going to Bangkok through Qatar Airways and then returning to Doha 1 week later, but only in transit in the airport (2 hours) and then heading to Dubai.
Of course I will obtain my exit permit to leave for Bangkok, however I am worried for when I get back and have to pass the security at the transit if I will be allowed to board my flight for Dubai or not?
I can't seem to find my answer anywhere. I am hoping that if I don't go out of the airport I don't need an exit permit, but has someone already experienced this?
Bangkok is very nice city and there are lots of places to see, and it is far cheaper than Doha
enjoy ur trip
Thank you so much, I can now get all excited about my trip without worrying anymore!
if u entered to doha then only u need exit permit, but if u r spending the above said 2 hours in the airport itself then there is no question coz nobody will Neither ask about your passport or your exit permit.
you won't be going through immigration on your return trip. It will be like all airports when you are just going through. You will need to go through a security screen of your luggage, but that's it.
Exit permit is required when you are in Doha, once you have gone to Bangkok and came back only in transit, your passport details are not entered in immigration system as "Entered" hence you are still out of Doha and as such you dont need exit permit.
Transit is no mans land. No problem.
