What is the meaning of exit visa /permit?
If i need to rush out of the country on an emergency & the sponsor is on holiday/ out of the country himself?

According to your position in the company, you can apply for a multi-exit permit.
If I am not mistaken that will be valid for 12 months and there is no limit on how many times you can leave the country
It is a long rights issue and until now they do not have resolution for this.
My Manager applies for Multiple Exit Permit Visa and still under processing since he needs to have this for he is a frequent traveller.
employers do assign immigration representative on-call, to assist employees who need to exit the country on emergency basis. get in touch with your HR / immigration department and make sure you have the name and contact number of your on-call guy, and hope you never have to use it!
Still, your sponsor can apply an exit permit through the net and you could be able to print it out.
