Expired Working Visa - Exiting Qatar

Hello everyone,

i just resigned from company to go back to my country and my last working day is on January 20 but my working visa already expired last January 3 and the company cant give me answer if they still need to renew my visa. I told them that i want to schedule my flight on February 1st.

Now i'm kind of worried of the following situation running in my mind;

-if the company doesn't renew my visa, will i be fined if i go on Feb 1? will the immigration hold me at the airport?

-if the company cancelled my visa on January 20th (my last working day) can i still leave on the Feb 1? will there be fines/fees?

-what should i ask my company so i can leave at Feb 1?

Please help :(

no. i already settled all my loans even before i resigned. i asked our HR if they need anything from the bank and told me they will deal with the bank directly and deposit my settlement to my account. my friend told me before that i need a letter from the bank, cant remember what it's called but something like clearance, but HR said no need to go to the bank.

Why? Are you planning to get away with the loan?

After expire of work visa still you can stay till 90 days without fine.tell your company that you need to packed your personal things & cancel all your bank account/ credit cards ,so u need time.give the date of your departure.

Everything should be handled by the company, and they have to. That said it would be better to speak to the immigration department directly

There will be fines and your company would not be able to cancel your visa anyway on the 20th, as it will be blocked and they will have to explain it to the immigration department.
