Assalam O Alai Kum Brothers & Sisters !
I am here in Qatar from August-2008 Working with a medium scale company from last 4 months, My current salary is 6500 and I am living with my parents(they are also working) though they are also only 3 year old to Qatar, My problem or whatever you can call is I am getting married by Feb –March 2010, Can I get a family residence visa to bring my wife.? Please throw some light on this topic so that I can define my co-ordinates from today and plan for tomorrow.

...you are getting married in one year.. during this year the law might be changed few times... there is not point for you to plan 1 year in advance...this is QATAR.. things change pretty fast here..

get married first, insha'allah, then you will see what's going on around...

As per new law, you can file only a Visit Visa for 6 months but not a residence Visa. As discussed on the threads before (please try to search on this site), the minimum requirements for you to sponsor your wife is a basic Salary of QR 7,000.00.

What I can suggest is that, your parents can help in obtaining a family residence visa for your wife(as their legal daughter). A final approval is still rests on Captain of Immigration upon submission of related documents with your parents and you as the full sponsor.
